So Far, So Good
I have been in Australia for just over two weeks now, and it's only getting better. I have been working (volunteering) at Friends of the Koala rescue center for almost every day. I'm glad they let me spend so much of my free time there, as I have a lot of it. In the last week, they have let me take on more responsibility, and allow me to experience more things. Last Thursday, I had the opportunity to go on a koala rescue, which was truly amazing. I have also had a friend at the rescue center, D'Artangan. He worried me for the past couple of days as he wasn't eating, and he has been loosing weight. However, he started eating the fresh leaf yesterday as soon as I brought it in. Last Friday, the international students were taken to the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, where I got to meet a nice kangaroo who got a little too excited to see me.
